Unlocking and Locking

• To unlock, scan an enrolled fingerprint or enter a valid code on the Touchpad
• To lock, press the SECURAM logo or any number on the Touchpad

You can also remotely control the lock using SECURAM Guard app. Available on: Android - Play Store | iOS - App Store

Adding New Users

The administrator must first be enrolled on the lock before enrolling new users.  
If you have already enrolled the administrator, you may skip this section. 
To enroll the administrator:

1. On the Touchpad, press the function button then 2.
2. Enter the default code 1 2 3 4 5 6 and press check.
3. Enroll the administrator fingerprint by placing your finger on the sensor. Follow the voice-guided instructions. 
4. Enroll a 2nd fingerprint or press the function button to skip. 
5. Enter a new administrator code (4 - 8 digits) then press check. 
6. Repeat the new code, then press check. 

The administrator is now enrolled! You can begin to enroll additional users.  Users role may be a visitor or an owner/family member. Visitors' access can be managed by the visitor switch on the interior assembly.

To enroll a new user:

1.  On the Touchpad, press the function button then 2.
2. Scan the administrator's fingerprint or enter the administrator code.
3. To enroll an owner / family member, place their finger on the scanner.  To enroll a visitor, press 0. 
4. Follow the voice-guided prompts when enrolling the fingerprints. You may skip fingerprint enrollment by pressing the function button. 
5. Enter a new code (4 - 8 digits) then press check. 
6. Repeat the new code, then press check. 

The new user is now added to the lock.

Deleting Users

When deleting users from the Touchpad, you must delete all owners / family members or all visitors. To remove an individual user from the lock, you must use the SECURAM Guard app. Click here for instructions on removing one user.

1. On the Touchpad, press the function button then 3.
2. Scan the administrator's fingerprint or enter the administrator's code.
3. Press 1 to delete all owners / family members. Or press 0 to delete all visitors.

Pairing Your Phone

The administrator must first be enrolled on the lock before pairing your device to SECURAM Guard.

To enter pair mode:

1. On the Touchpad, press the function button then 8.
2. Scan the administrator's fingerprint or enter the administrator code.

The wireless icon will begin to flash blue indicating it is ready to pair. Follow the guided instruction in the SECURAM Guard app to finish the setup.

Arm / Disarm System

The device must be paired to your SECURAM Guard account to arm or disarm the system. 

1. To arm or disarm the system, press the function button then 0, then authenticate with a valid code or fingerprint. Arming can be enabled directly on the SECURAM Guard app.
2. To disarm the system, press the function button then 0, then authenticate with a valid code or fingerprint. Or, simply unlock the lock with a registered fingerprint or enter a valid code. 

The lock will announce whether the system has been armed or disarmed. 

Note: Using the physical key for unlocking will not DisArm the lock.

Changing Device Volume

1. On the Touchpad, press the function button then 6.
2. Press 6 to adjust the volume. (High / Low / Off)
3. Press check to select the desired volume.

Changing Batteries

1. On the interior assembly, gently press and slide the battery cover forward, then remove it. 
2. Remove the spent 2x CR123A or CR123 batteries and replace with new batteries. 

The device will power on and say "Welcome!"

Using 9V Backup Jumper

If the batteries have died and the Low Battery alerts have been ignored, you can temporarily power the device by connecting a 9V Battery to the jumper terminals on the lower left side of the exterior assembly. 

1. Hold the 9V battery (orientation does not matter) to the terminals found on the bottom left of the Touchpad to temporarily power the lock. 
2. While holding the 9V battery in place, scan a valid fingerprint or enter a valid code to gain access.

Change your batteries! You will receive a push notification when it is time to replace the batteries.

Factory Reset

Performing a factory reset on the device will wipe the device clean and set it back to factory default. All users will be deleted, and the administrator code will revert to 1 2 3 4 5 6.

1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Raise the locking latch to release the interior assembly from the mounting plate.
3. Slowly pull off the mounting plate, leaving the cable attached. 
4. On the back, rotate the integrated door sensor labeled R to access the reset button.
5. Press and hold the red reset button until the lock announces it is being reset. 

Please note: All user codes and fingerprints will be deleted and the Administrator code will be reset to
123456
