Interior Assembly
Unlocking and Locking
- To unlock, scan an enrolled fingerprint or enter a valid code on the Touchpad
- To lock: Press the silver lock button or any number on the Touchpad

Adding New Users
The administrator must first be enrolled on the lock before enrolling new users.If you have already enrolled the administrator, you may skip this section.
To enroll the administrator:
- On the Touchpad, press the function button then 2.
- Enter the default code 1 2 3 4 5 6 and press check.
- Enroll administrator fingerprint by placing your finger on the sensor. Follow the voice guided instructions.
- Enroll a 2nd fingerprint or press the function button to skip.
- Enter a new administrator code (4 - 8 digits) then press check.
- Repeat the new code, then press check.
To enroll new users:
- On the Touchpad, press the function button then 2.
- Scan the administrator fingerprint or enter the administrator code.
- To enroll an owner / family member, place their finger on the scanner. To enroll a visitor, press 0.
- Follow the voice guided prompts when enrolling a fingerprint. You may skip fingerprint enrollment by pressing the function button.
- Enter a new code (4 - 8 digits) then press check.
- Repeat the new code, then press check.
Deleting Users
When deleting users from the Touchpad, you must delete all owners / family members or all visitors. To remove an individual user from the lock, you must use the SECURAM Guard app. Click here for instructions on removing one user.- On the Touchpad, press the function button then 3.
- Scan the administrator fingerprint or enter the administrator code.
- Press 1 to delete all owners / family members. Or press 0 to delete all visitors.
Pairing Your Phone
The administrator must first be enrolled on the lock before pairing your device to SECURAM Guard.Download the SECURAM Guard app here: Android - Play Store | iOS - App Store
To enter pair mode:
- On the Touchpad, press the function button then 8.
- Scan the administrator fingerprint or enter the administrator code.
Arm / Disarm System
The device must be paired to your SECURAM Guard account to arm or disarm the system.- To arm or disarm the system, press the function button then 0.
- Scan the administrator fingerprint or enter the administrator code.
The lock will report the system has been armed or disarmed.
Note: When the system is armed, scanning a valid fingerprint or entering a valid code will automatically disarm the system.
Changing Device Volume
- On the Touchpad, press the function button then 6.
- Press 6 to adjust the volume. (High / Low / Off)
- Press check to set the volume.
Changing Batteries
- On the interior assembly, push up on the battery cover then remove it.
- Remove the spent 4x AA batteries and replace with new batteries.
The device will power on and say "Welcome!"
Using 9V Backup Jumper
If the batteries have died and the Low Battery alerts have been ignored, you can temporarily power the device with a 9V Battery.- On the Touchpad, press in the bottom left corner next to the SECURAM Logo.
- The keyhole cover will pop out, allowing you to rotate the cover to reveal the 9V Battery jumper and keyway.
- Hold the 9V battery (orientation does not matter) to the terminals to temporarily power the lock.
- While holding the 9V battery in place, scan a valid fingerprint or enter a valid code to gain access.
Change your batteries! You will receive a push notification when it is time to replace the batteries.
Factory Reset
Performing a factory reset on the device will wipe the device clean and set it back to factory default. All users will be deleted, and the administrator code will revert to 1 2 3 4 5 6.- On the interior assembly, push up on the battery cover then remove it.
- Locate the RED reset button in the battery compartment.
- Press and hold the red reset button (using a paperclip or similar tool) until the lock reports it has been set to factory default.
