In this article, we will show you how to use the various features of the app, SECURAM Guard.

Device Screen
A quick overview of your device screen.
At the top of your device screen, you will see the power and Wi-Fi connection status.
Device Controls
Edit LED Color: Tap this rectangle to set the color of the LED Indicator.
Smart On: Turn on your programmed devices. By default, this turns the light on. To learn more about programming this button, view Smart Buttons.
On/Off: Turn the locally wired light on or off.
Smart Off: Turn off your programmed devices. By default, this turns the light off. To learn more about programming this button, view Smart Buttons.
Smart Mode
Smart mode can be used to set a daily routine for your switch. To get started, tap ‘Smart Mode’ then ‘Create Rules’
Tapping ‘Add’ will create a new rule. Drag the dots on the clock diagram to set the time range this rule will operate. Triggers can be set for how the light turns on and off for this period.
Tap 'Save' when you are done!
Smart Buttons
Your smart buttons can be programmed to control other SECURAM smart switches. To configure these buttons, tap ‘Smart Buttons’ and then select which button you want to edit.
On the next screen, you may select the action for when the button is pressed. Simply tap the ‘+’ button to select the devices you want to control. Additionally, you may set a schedule so it only works during the set period. Yes, you can set up different routines throughout the week!
Schedule
Set a schedule to automatically turn on or off at set times according to your daily routine. On the device details page, tap the Schedule icon as shown above.
Adding a Schedule
- Tap the ' + ' icon
- Enter a name for your schedule
- Select a time for the light to turn on and off. If you don’t want it to turn on/off automatically, set the time to ‘Manually’.
- Select the day(s) you want this schedule to run. (green = selected, grey = not selected)
- Tap Save, to save your schedule.
Editing or Deleting a Schedule
Tap on your schedule to edit. You can edit the schedule or tap the Delete button to delete it.
Disabling a Schedule
Use the toggle to temporarily disable the schedule.
When the toggle is grey, the schedule will be disabled. Lights will not automatically turn on/off according to the disabled schedule.
When the toggle is green, the schedule will be active. Lights will automatically turn on/off according to the set schedule.
Timer
Set a timer to automatically turn on or off after the timer ends. On the device details page, tap the Timer icon as shown above.
- Set the time for your timer.
- Select if you want the light to turn on or off after the timer ends.
- Tap Save.
The light will turn on or off when the timer ends. You can cancel the timer by pressing the red Cancel button.
Vacation
When vacation mode is active, the switch will turn on and off at random times during the set time range to make it look like you are home. On the device details page, tap the Vacation icon as shown above.
Enable / Disable Vacation Mode
- Tap on the
toggle to enable vacation mode. Grey is disabled, green is enabled.
- Set the days and the start and end time for the period you want the switch to operate.
- Tap Save.
